How do we provide a stress-free enviroment?
#1. We Bond With your Pup
In our 40+ years of grooming we've personally found when we take time to bond with your fur baby ( Petting them, walking them, or even just playing with them) they are much happier during the grooming process!
Whether you're a new client or we've been grooming your pups for 30+ years, we always enjoy making them feel at ease.
Because let's be honest.. A happy dog makes a happy owner!
#2. We Believe In Humanity Over Vanity
What does humanity over vanity mean and why does it matter?
The most well-known meaning of this refers to dog matting,
Did you know that de-matting a dog is more cruel than simply shaving them down?
De-matting can cause skin & blood vessel issues, including hematomas
But that doesn't fully exclude de-matting from the picture
We are still able to de-matt dogs depending on their coat type & the severity of the matting.
Otherwise, if your dog is very matted we will have no choice but to shave your pup.
Groomers do not like having to resort to shave-downs, we prefer keeping your pup soft & fluffy
Age and why it matters
If you have a very elderly dog, it's not uncommon that they won't understand what is going on, and this can cause them to suddenly freak out!
We have the proper equipment if this happens, But if they continue to be scared or stressed we will alert you immediately!
As dogs get old, we believe it's best to have a regular schedule for a simple tidy-up, not a full grooming!
#3.How do we prevent loud noises
Let's be honest.. There is no real way to 100% eliminate loud noises, from grooming whether you go to a grooming shop or any mobile groomer!
Although we take our best efforts to lower the noise as much as possible! This includes:

We may use cotton balls for a noise-cancelling-like effect

if necessary we will remove the nozzle of the dryer & lower the setting.
